Invitation to Tender for the supply, delivery, and commissioning of Crane Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for Ship to Shore (STS) Cranes

Tender description

The equipment supplier’s primary scope of work will include but will not necessarily be limited to the following items:- The OCR System to be offered by the Supplier will operate 24/7/365 and shall meet the base requirements set out in this document. The scope of the tender package shall include all hardware, software, firmware and interfaces, to fulfill the functionality and performance required. The OCR System will be delivered with adequate system availability, performance and quality. The Supplier is advised to take into consideration the compatibility and extensibility of the OCR System offered in the tender to be also possibility utilized in additional cranes that may be purchased in the future. Implementation and integration The Supplier is responsible for all the implementation and integration of the systems for the OCR System. The System will be ideally installed prior to the STS cranes becoming operational. The Supplier shall submit a detailed programme of implementation works, with an understanding that the cranes may be in full operation during implementation and uninterrupted access for Supplier will not be available.
