Tender description

The Council has 5 tennis courts across 2 sites: Page Park and Kingswood Park. The Council has been approached by the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) with an offer of investment to improve the quality of the courts. This is part of the nationwide investment programme funded by the Department for Culture Media and Sport alongside the LTA. The investment will improve the playing surface of the courts and will see the installation of gate access technology on each site. The purpose of this RFI is to identify organisations best suited to tender for the operation and maintenance of the improved tennis courts. The contract term will be for a period of five years with the opportunity for a further three years extension at the Councils discretion. The operator will be responsible for managing the courts at the 2 sites and conduct all customer relationship services, including bookings, financial transactions, marketing, coaching provision, subsidised/free sessions for identified audiences and monitoring/reporting.
