Stockport Security SIA Guards

Tender description

To appoint doormen/security guards to provide an ad-hoc service at Stockport Town Hall, Bramall Hall and ancillary venues to cover and oversee various events as required. The events include weddings, corporate dinners, awards evenings, prom nights, sporting events and Council meetings etc. Events can start as early as 6am and can continue until 2am the following day. During election periods some venues may need to be covered over a 24 hour period. Events can happen 7 days a week all year round. All staff must have a dedicated uniform and ID badges. Staff must also be able to communicate with members of the public, Council Officers, Councillors and MP’s. All staff must present themselves in a professional manner, promoting good customer service ensuring the Council is seen in a positive light. It is a requirement that all doormen/security guards have an SIA badge and at least 1 be a qualified first aider where more than one doorman/security guard is required.
