About adding context and requirements test Work done so far Initial exploration of stakeholders and problem statements Which phase the project is in Not started Existing team None - will be working alongside Senior Digital Directors and their wider Teams. Address where the work will be done DWP currently operate a Hybrid Working arrangment with 40% office based. Individual (s) involved in this activity will be expected to attend meetings in person at one of the 6 Digital Hubs - mainly North West locations on ad hoc basis as required Working arrangements The supplier staff will keep DWP Digital team hours in order to maximise knowledge transfer and integrate with team development processes: Monday to Friday based in the UK starting work by 9.30am, 7.5 hours per day + lunch time. Expenses will be capped at £5,000 for the duration of the contract and all travel and subsistence will require prior approval. The approach to this work will be to engage an individual or small team with the relevant expertise to engage with relevant stakeholders & interested parties, over a period of 4 to 6 weeks to take on board & progress further recommendations already made at Phase 1 of this project. Confirm if you require a contracted out service or supply of resource Contracted out service: the off-payroll rules do not apply Summary of work Review the accountability / responsibility / sponsorship for practices from Digital ET and Directors Review Practice roles (Practice Sponsor, Head of Practice, Head of Role, and Practice Support teams), including roles and responsibilities, capacity, and how they are appointed Review the role of Practices in the wider system that enables the delivery of practice objectives, including the practice support teams, the central teams in Digital Group, PC&P, and others as needed; in order to get roles / responsibilities right Review how practices are engaging with members, whether they are representing all of Digital, and whether function and practice separation is clear Review Practice governance, and the maturity of performance measures Recommend changes to improve the overall maturity and success of Practices, and the achievement of Digital’s wider plans and goals Where the supplied staff will work North West England Who the organisation using the products or services is DWP Digital Why the work is being done Review practice plans and activity to explore whether Practice scope, boundaries and activities are in line with the core purpose The business problem you need to solve Digital ET would like to provide recommendations to improve the overall maturity and success of Practices, and the achievement of Digital’s wider plans and goals.
