Provision of Access to Media Monitoring Services

Tender description

The Authority requires access to a self-serve online platform which enables it to access tv and radio broadcast footage immediately after it has aired. Footage should be viewable/listenable on an easy to use media player display with the ability to navigate through the footage quickly and identify points of interest. The media player should include the ability to slow down and speed up the playback of the footage. The Authority requires that the broadcast footage be downloadable in a number of recognisable formats, including MP4 for television footage and MP3 for radio footage. The Authority specialises in live monitoring of broadcast news items and requires that the online platform be easily navigable with text-to-speech functionality and picture thumbnails embedded in the search display in order to quickly identify points of interest in the relevant broadcast footage.
