Protected Mobility Engineering and Technical Support (PMETS)

Tender description

DE&S are planning to undertake a competition to replace the Protected Mobility Engineering and Technical Support (PMETS) contract for contract Post Design Services (PDS) and are interested to understand the opportunities and risks associated with adding additional services to support platform upkeep, update and upgrade by spiral development of the platforms. The current contract covers the PDS services for Jackal, Coyote, Mastiff, Ridgeback, Wolfhound and Foxhound. The scope of the PMETS replacement is still to be confirmed and may include additional vehicles and services from what is currently covered. DE&S would like to invite Industry Suppliers to present at the Request for Information (RFI) Industry Day for the PMETS Replacement Contract which will be held on 11th and 12th October (an additional day may be required, depending on interest). There will be a presentation by the DE&S Project Team at the beginning of the day, before inviting suppliers on a one-to-one basis to answer a series of pre-set questions. This will then be followed by open floor discussion within the one-to-one session. The Authority requests that you prepare a 5-minute presentation about your company, to be delivered at the start of the one-to-one session. This will then be followed by 30 mins of responses on the questions, and 10 mins of open floor discussion.
