Tender description
Wirral Council is seeking to appoint an aspirational and experienced multi-disciplinary Design Lead to develop and deliver a RIBA Stage 2 & Stage 3 for four combined and interdependent public realm projects known as Woodside Waterfront, Hamilton Station, Hamilton Square and Argyle Street, located in Birkenhead. The core skill set of the design lead and their team must cover the fundamental design aspects of: • Public realm streetscape design including hard and soft landscaping, • Highway engineering works, active travel networks and way finding, • Placemaking public realm space in a heritage context.
