DAERA AFBI - Purchase of two LCMSMS Mass Spectrometers

Tender description

Lot 1: AFBI wishes to appoint a Contractor(s) to deliver two compact, bench-top, mass spectrometers. The Contract will be separated into 2 Lots with each Lot being evaluated and Awarded independently. There is no restrictions on the number of Lots a Tenderer can bid or be awarded. The 2 Lots are as follows: • Lot 1 - for the provision of 1 x Liquid Chromatograph – Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer (LC-MSMS) • Lot 2 for the provision of 1 x Liquid Chromatograph –Quadrupole/High Resolution Mass Spectrometer (LC-MSMS) Both LC-MSMSs must be supplied with a minimum of 2 years parts and labour warranty which must include replacement of faulty parts, repairs, labour and travel and software support and must be included with the cost of the purchase. Depending on the availability of further funding etc AFBI may purchase further LC-MSMS instruments during the first year following the successful Installation and Commissioning of the Spectrometer. The warranty/maintenance will run for a period of 2 years and will commence following the completion of the Installation and Commissioning. The maintenance contract may be extended annually for a further 3 periods following the initial contract period expiry.
