29th ARTS & BUSINESS CYMRU AWARDS 2024 Celebrating Creativity and Excellence in Partnership BRIEF FOR DESIGN & PRINT Arts & Business (A&B) Cymru is a Welsh charity and membership organisation which strives to make both sectors stronger through collaboration. Its annual Awards Ceremony exists to encourage, acknowledge and celebrate exemplary partnerships between the private sector and the arts. Since its inception in 1993, the ceremony has grown in both size and stature and is now regarded as one of Wales’ most popular events. The evening attracts senior representatives of business, the arts, the media and public life and is recognised as an ideal opportunity for businesses to extend hospitality to guests. In June 2024, the black-tie ceremony and dinner will once again be held at the Coal Exchange Hotel, Cardiff. Winning businesses will receive an Award commissioned from a Wales based artist. Many well-known personalities will be present and the evening will be interspersed with specially created performances. The ceremony will also be live-streamed to a global audience The Awards will be launched at the Coal Exchange Hotel in January 2024, when sponsors’ benefits will begin and details of the ceremony will be announced. PR & Publicity The A&B Cymru Awards attracts great interest and attention across Wales, resulting in extensive profile-raising opportunities for associated companies. Sponsors’ benefits will begin with the Awards Launch in January 2024 and run through to the evening of the ceremony and for many months beyond. These range from credit on targeted press campaigns, website and social media activity to many logo and product placement opportunities. The Awards has much associated, widely distributed digital marketing collateral, as well as two full-colour printed Awards Brochures which are used for promotional purposes through the year to a wider list of business, media and arts partners. Partnership Proposal A&B Cymru wishes to commission an agency to design and produce the marketing collateral associated with its flagship celebration. As a small charity, it is keen to develop a long-term and mutually beneficial partnership with the successful agency as an Awards Partner. In return for a substantial discount on the collateral design and production, an extensive package of profiling benefits and complimentary seats at the ceremony would be provided. See Page 2. Following successful completion of the 2024 Awards print, it is hoped that all A&B Cymru’s marketing collateral would be designed and produced by the same agency throughout the year. Key Information • The closing date for tender proposals is Friday 20 October 2024. • Adequate time for proof reading must be built into the delivery date for each piece of marketing collateral. • Each piece of collateral must follow the A&B Cymru design guidelines which would be provided to the successful applicant at the time of commission. • Eco-friendly paper should be used for the Awards print wherever possible. • Tender proposals must include a full breakdown of all costs involved for each item of print. • Interested parties can be mailed examples of past Awards print on request.
