All Adoption agencies in England (Regional Adoption Agencies (RAAs) /Voluntary Adoption Agencies (VAAs)) currently use digital systems to aid the matching of children with prospective adopters. The system/s are used in various ways by agencies: some use it as a system for registering all children waiting for adoption, some adoption agencies use it as a tool to increase placement choice for children awaiting adoption through creating access to a wider pool of available adopters. Adopters’ details are also registered on the system to enable links to be generated and adopters themselves can access the system to consider the pool of available children with a plan for adoption. To support this, we would like to gain information from the market regarding a number of issues related to the potential procurement exercise.
