Tender description

Southern Water Services (SWS) are preparing to undertake Procurement activity in the market through a UCR Tender process to onboard an outsourced Developer Services Support contract to support our in-house Developer Services Team. This will be a two-stage Competitive with Negotiation procedure, with a Pre-Qualification round followed by an Invitation To Tender round (including a presentation). SWS will award the Framework Contract to one winning bidder. The winning bidder will be awarded a Framework Contract lasting 4 years, with an option to extend for a period of up to 4 years. The Services that the successful bidder will be asked to provide under the agreement will be set out within the ITT and Contract and collaboration with the in-house team will be of paramount importance to ensure a high level of customer service to our customers and community and continue our robust service with an ever-growing demand in the Developer Services environment. Please note that SWS reserves the right to update the scope of work at the release of contract notice for Developer Services Support Services Framework. SWS are looking for a strategic partner to undertake a variety of workstreams, as well as proactively liaising with and engaging with our in-house Developer Services team. Activities include (but not limited to) the following areas: • Capacity Checks • Odour Consultations • Development Consent Orders • New Roads & Street Works • Planning Liaison & Growth Identification (including Planning Consultations & Planning Appeals) • Pre-Planning Enquiries • Protection of Sewers (Building Regulations) • Protection of Sewers (Build Over & Declaration of Works) • Infrastructure Charges All works will be undertaken via the SWS DSEMS system (as well as utilisation of other SWS systems). AMP priorities will include high level of customer service to our customers and community, and proactive engagement with the in-house team to improve DMEX results.
