Tender description

Architectural and project management services for the first phase of a 3-phase extension to Wormley Community Centre. Lot 1: Broxbourne Big Local is inviting local RIBA chartered architecture practices to submit a fee proposal to provide both architectural and project management services for the technical design, tender and delivery (RIBA Stages 4- 6) of phase 01 of extensions to and refurbishment of the Wormley Community Centre, for which conditional planning approval has recently been secured. Phase 01 is the first stage of a proposed complete remodelling of the building, including a first floor extension providing new studio spaces as well as a number of ground floor extensions accommodating a secondary smaller hall and a new café at the heart of the local community. The objective of the development is to enable the Centre to become a significant multi-purpose venue that will be financially sustainable for the long term.
