Underground Utility Survey Services N72Fossa and N70 Cahersiveen

Tender description

The works shall consist of the scope of works shown on the drawings and specifications, including but not limited to the following: • Set up of compound and welfare facilities. • Provide, maintain and dismantle safe access to the works. Setting up, operation and maintaining traffic management in compliance with Chapter 8 for the duration of the works. • Excavation, preparation of ground for the surveying of existing services. • A Utility Record Search (Survey Type D) is required along both routes as shown in the information pack – Drawing Series 3000. • A GPR survey (Survey Type B) is required along both routes, Cahersiveen has an area of approx. 70,875 m2 and Fossa is approximately 31,700 m2. • Slit Trenching (Survey Type A) is also required along both routes at specified locations. Cahersiveen will require 20 slit trenches, Fossa will require 13 slit trenches. The Locations of the slit trenches will be confirmed on site with the successful tender, indicative locations are shown in the information pack – Drawing Series 3000. • Reinstatement of slit trenches and reinstatement in accordance with the Purple Book. • Accommodation works around existing services.
