Sensory Services includes 2 Lots: Lot 1 - Visual Impairments Lot 2 - Hearing Loss The Vision Loss Holistic Service provides support and advice to adults who experience sight loss in Liverpool. This includes the provision of Visual Rehabilitation to eligible adults. Visual Rehabilitation provides equipment, support and advice to support adults living with sight loss. The service specialises in three main areas; Mobility, Communication and Independent Living Skills. The Hearing Loss service will undertake holistic assessments of needs with individuals who experience hearing loss, the assessment and provision of equipment, provision of advice and guidance as well as the delivery of low-level support. This contract will require the Provider to work with the vision impairment service provider, in order to develop services further. This includes an agreed process to follow in supporting people who are Deaf-Blind. Keywords: deaf, blind, sensory
