Professional Design Services - Manchester St Viaduct, Oldham

Tender description

Constructed in the late 1970s, the Manchester Street viaduct, located at the A62 Oldham Way/Manchester Street roundabout, close to Oldham Town Centre, is in a poor and deteriorating condition with a number of present and suspected defects. It is in need of repair and improvement to extend its design life, keep Oldham Way open, and maintain the resilience and efficiency of the existing highway network. The Council sought to procure professional design consultancy services to commence design development for the scheme using the Crown Commercial Services Framework: Construction Professional Services - RM6165 Lot 1 Built Environment and General Infrastructure The procurement process was managed through the Council's e-tendering system The Chest. All providers on the Lot were invited to participate. The deadline date provided in this notice relates to the Expression of Interest (EOI) deadline. Only providers which responded to the EOI could proceed through to tender stage if shortlisted.
