RECOMMENDATIONS TO DESIGN EFFECTIVE MONITORING APPROACHES FOR COMMERCIAL FISHERIES IN RELATION TO OFFSHORE WIND-FARMS

Tender description

The Scottish Government had a requirement to place a contract with an external service provider for the provision of Recommendations To Design Effective Monitoring Approaches For Commercial Fisheries In Relation To Offshore Wind Farms The Offshore Wind Directorate invited a tender from a suitable contractor to provide recommendations to design effective monitoring approaches for commercial fisheries in relation to offshore wind farms. It is expected that the monitoring guidance developed could be applicable in multiple cases (not just around offshore wind farms) and put into practice by a variety of end-users, e.g. to inform monitoring approaches should they be required by licence conditions, to support socio-economic assessments, to inform marine spatial planning exercises, and/or for research purposes etc
