Sports Performance Analysis Requirement The School of Sport and Health Sciences runs degree programmes that offer students the opportunity to learn about sports performance analysis. Performance analysis studies are situated as a crucial element of the Sports Coaching, Sports Science and Football Studies degree programmes at foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The modules of study for performance analysis are strategically aligned with the university's aim to offer students real world experience with the opportunity to apply skills and competences in applied settings, allowing a greater chance of securing a rewarding career in skilled employment. To support teaching delivery and the strategic aims of the degree programmes, it is essential that appropriate performance analysis software and support is available. UCLan is at the forefront of the university market for performance analysis education and exists in a competitive market. UCLan is accepting tenders for the provision of industry leading software and appropriate support that will equip students with skills and practical competency. It is vital that any provider builds and maintains a partnership that enables the university to work towards being the education provider of choice for aspiring performance analysts and is open to working together to develop technological advancements in the field. It is essential that students are offered the opportunity to access software that assists the partnerships developed by the university with professional sports clubs in the North West of England. This will support the university's aim to improve graduate outcomes and strengthen the market position in recruiting future students. The requirement that is sought by UCLan is for a 2-year contract plus an additional 1-year option to commence imminently. The outline requirement will consist of: Performance analysis software Telestration software Technical support Online video storage Access to video footage from leading sports competitions Access to contemporary data reports from leading sports competitions Opportunity for students to access CPD The software requirement must all be contained within one platform and should be a COTS application ready to immediately deploy.
