Tender description
Background Operational Services in the Council employ hundreds of frontline staff, of these around 70 – 100 staff are classified as “at-risk lone workers” who require support in the form of a system or device that can carry out multiple functions such as; alerting managers to an issue, calling for help, location monitoring etc. Requirement - Dedicated “panic” button to Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) - Amber Alert Recordings to allow users to remain in contact with ARC if potential risk has been identified - Two-way communication between a user and the ARC - Accurate location tracking and recording - Fall Detection - 24/7/365 Support - Roaming SIM Cards to maximise connectivity - Long battery life to maximise the time between charges - Lightweight unit fits or incorporated into ID Card holder, on belt or lanyard - On-line monitoring through Web Portal
