Limerick City and County Council - Active Travel - Establishment of Multiple Operator Framework Agreement for Landscape Contractors

General Framework Information: Active Travel Limerick are seeking to establish a Framework with a suitable Landscape Contractor to undertake planting works, routine maintenance of soft landscape areas and minor civil works (installation of street furniture and kerbing). All works are located in Limerick City and its suburbs. Anticipated general soft landscape works will include plant bed preparation, importing and or exchanging of topsoil, weeding, lawn and wildflower seeding, shrub, herbaceous and tree planting, woodland planting and maintenance of all elements described above. Minor civil works will include kerbing, installation of street furniture and water bound gravel paths. Initial Call-Off Contract Tender (Safe Route to School Planters Installation, Planting and Maintenance) A number of bespoke planters have been procured by Active Travel Limerick to be installed at various location in Limerick City and its suburbs. Proposed works will include (but not limited to): 1. Agreeing installation method with Sub-Consultant (Suitable Engineer appointed by winning Tenderer) and Client (Active Travel LCCC) 2. Scanning sites for services and agreeing set out with Client 3. Installation of planters and filling with specified imported topsoil 4. Planting of plants as specified 5. Maintenance of all planters for 2 years following planting including: a. Weeding and watering b. Replacement and infill planting c. Removal of dead plant material and pruning d. Litter removal e. Topping up of bark mulch
