Expressions of Interest for Short Term Caretaker opportunity to provide General Dental Services in Bolsover, Derbyshire

NHS Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AGCSU) on behalf of NHS Derby and Derbyshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) (The Commissioner) would like to notify the market of a potential opportunity to provide General Dental Services in Bolsover under a short term caretaker contract and would like to invite all interested providers to participate in an early market assessment questionnaire. <br/><br/>The service commencement date is 1st January 2024. <br/><br/>Please note the deadline for expressions of interest is 12pm on 14th September 2023. Lot 1: Interim caretaker contract for a duration of 12 months with the option to extend for a further 12 months at an estimated contract value of £1,319,212, (including 12 month extension). There will also be a fixed monthly payment of £4,167 to cover costs associated with service delivery and a one off start-up cost of £40,000 to be paid at the commencement of the contract. <br/><br/>The commissioner is looking for a provider to deliver 1,008 clinical sessions per year. <br/><br/>This is a unique situation in that premises are available which must be utilised by the successful interim caretaker provider. <br/><br/>The current premises are purpose built and fit for purpose and the Commissioner intends to provide a full subsidy for premises costs.<br/><br/>The premises to deliver this service are mandated and therefore must be delivered from the following address:<br/><br/>29 Market Place, <br/>Bolsover<br/>Chesterfield<br/>S44 6NP<br/><br/>Key points for consideration for interested providers are that they:-<br/>- Must be able to mobilise within a short time frame e.g 1 month<br/>- Must have available or access to workforce capacity to deliver the service (Please note TUPE will not apply)<br/>- Must be eligible to hold a PDS Agreement<br/>- Must have equipment available to fulfil this service (no assets will be available to transfer) Additional information: If more than one compliant provider registers an interest for this opportunity, meets the requirements set out in this notice and the questionnaire then the ICB may set out details for a competitive process. <br/><br/>Should only one provider register an interest and meet the requirements, the ICB reserve the right to award to that provider without further publication following due diligence checks.
