Direct Award for the Supply and Installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Points

Tender description

South Lanarkshire Council have a requirement to install electric vehicle charging points within the South Lanarkshire boundaries for the increased number of Electric Vehicles in various locations. The call-off Contract is awarded via Direct Award under the ESPO Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Framework, reference 636_21. To support the increased use of electric vehicles the Council needs to provide further charging opportunities and a number of geographically strategic sites as follows: Roads Carnwath Depot 1 x dual post 7kw Roads Hawbank Depot 1 x dual post 7kw 4 x Social Work Childrens Homes 4 x dual post 7 kw Social Work Newberry Rooney 1 x dual post 7 kw Social Work Claude Street 1 x dual post 7 kw Social Work Burnbank family Centre 1 x dual post 7 kw Waste Sandy Road Depot 1 x dual post 7 kw South Lanarkshire Council have a requirement to install electric vehicle charging points for the increased number of Electric Vehicles between August 2023 and February 2024. The Council have identified ESPO Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Framework 636_21,period 26 October 2021 – 25 October 2023 with the option to extend for a period of 24 months. The call-off Contract is awarded via Direct Award under Lot 1 of the framework.
