Design Consultancy Services Framework Agreement 2023

Tender description

MTC seeks to establish a framework agreement for the following services split into 5 lots; * Lot 1 - Project Manager* Lot 2 – Cost Manager * Lot 3 - Civil and Structural* Lot 4 - Mechanical and Electrical Services* Lot 5 – Lead Principal Designer Lot 1: Project Manager Since the MTC was opened on 29th July 2011, various alterations have been carried out and will continue to be carried out to meet the expanding research and administrative requirements of the business. This may include new build facilities in land surrounding the MTC main building that has been reserved for this purpose and Master Plan prepared, refurbishment, fit out for research facilities, change of use and alteration projects to existing buildings and infrastructure alterations or installations of new services to support the fit out and equipment installs. This Lot is for appointing Project Managers - Employers Agent / Project Management of the design and procurement stages and Contract Administration of the Construction Stage for RIBA Work Stages 0 through to completion. Lot 2: Cost Manager Since the MTC was opened on 29th July 2011, various alterations have been carried out and will continue to be carried out to meet the expanding research and administrative requirements of the business. This may include new build facilities in land surrounding the MTC main building that has been reserved for this purpose and Master Plan prepared, refurbishment, fit out for research facilities, change of use and alteration projects to existing buildings and infrastructure alterations or installations of new services to support the fit out and equipment installs. This Lot is for appointing Cost Managers - Quantity Surveying Services appropriate to the procurement method selected for RIBA Work Stages 0 through to project completion (including conclusion of defects rectification period). This Lot is for appointing Civil and Structural Engineers - Engineering services including Civil and Structural or RIBA Work Stages 0 through to project completion (including conclusion of defects rectification period). Lot 4: Mechanical and Electrical Services Since the MTC was opened on 29th July 2011, various alterations have been carried out and will continue to be carried out to meet the expanding research and administrative requirements of the business. This may include new build facilities in land surrounding the MTC main building that has been reserved for this purpose and Master Plan prepared, refurbishment, fit out for research facilities, change of use and alteration projects to existing buildings and infrastructure alterations or installations of new services to support the fit out and equipment installs. This Lot is for Mechanical and Electrical Services (including Quantity Surveying support for M and E works) and Fire and Acoustics for RIBA Work Stages 0 through to project completion (including conclusion of defects rectification period). Lot 5: Lead Principal Designer Since the MTC was opened on 29th July 2011, various alterations have been carried out and will continue to be carried out to meet the expanding research and administrative requirements of the business. This may include new build facilities in land surrounding the MTC main building that has been reserved for this purpose and Master Plan prepared, refurbishment, fit out for research facilities, change of use and alteration projects to existing buildings and infrastructure alterations or installations of new services to support the fit out and equipment installs. This Lot is for Lead Principal Designers - Architects for the design of construction projects (excluding Contract Administration) for RIBA work Stages 0 through to project completion (including conclusion of defects rectification period).
