Award of 701_1121 Cruach Tarbert Phase 4 New Roads and Harvesting Facilities

Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS) is an executive agency of Scottish Government and manages Scotland’s Forests and Land. We manage land on behalf of Scottish Ministers and serve as part of the Environment and Forestry directorate of the Scottish Government. Forestry and Land Scotland have a network of forest roads critical to supporting all access which enable the management of the estate. We wish to award a contract for the construction of 4030m of forest road and the construction of Harvesting Facilities. The work includes crushing and screening work at onsite quarry. The work is to be completed in several phases. The forest road has an Environmental Impact Assessment (Forestry) approval with conditions attached to the consent, to address the environmental impact of the project. Required mitigation measures are set out with this tender. FLS have estimated a budget of £600,000.00 for the completion of these works.
