Our vision is to create a supportive programme and environment with the borough for entrepreneurs, post start-up businesses and existing micro businesses and SME's to drive growth and significantly improve Wigan Borough’s current performance against key economic indicators at a sub-regional and national level. We see the provision of a local specialist business support programme, tailored to nurture existing/future entrepreneurs and small business owners as key to the success of the entire project including cultivating future tenants for the building once works are complete. The programme will foster the growth of new businesses, creating higher value employment opportunities locally. The ability of our residents to create new enterprises or access quality employment opportunities at a local level is critical to closing our current productivity, innovation, skills and inequality gaps.
