Specifically, our website currently runs on the Drupal 7 content management system, community support for which ends in November 2023 and we are using this opportinity to evaluate whether Drupal remains a suitable platform to run the website on, or whether it should be redeveloped upon a different content management system / framework. The business problem you need to solve Suppliers are asked to provide Surrey Heath Borough Council with a modern, secure, fast and vibrant website replacement for our Camberley Theatre. The website is used by members of the public to view details and book upcoming shows and performances. The major integration we have inside the website is with https://www.spektrix.com/en-gb/ , the seat booking, ticket purchasing and marketing system. A newly rebuilt website needs to provide slick integration with Spektrix to ensure the customer journey for ticket booking and purchase is as smooth as possible to maximise revenue from ticket sales. The new theatre website must be of a fully responsive design to work well on mobile devices. We also ask developers to ensure that the website / hosting complies with PCI DSS 4.0 (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard). Whilst the Spektrix integration actually handles the card data we understand that there are new requirements in PCI DSS 4.0 regarding page referrals etc. It is also important for developers to ensure that the new website meets or exceeds the WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards. We also allow members of public to book our spaces in the theatre such as the main auditorium, the studio and the function rooms in the building. Currently this booking is achieved using a manually downloadable PDF form and we are looking to streamline this process.
