Tender description
Tenders are invited for the supply of Provision of Best Interest Assessors, in respect of Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) Assessment Frameworks and the statutory requirements of the Mental Health Act of 2007. These will be procured through a single formal tender process. Lot 1: Tenders are invited for the supply of Provision of Best Interest Assessors, in respect of Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) Assessment Frameworks and the statutory requirements of the Mental Health Act of 2007. These will be procured through a single formal tender process. Service Providers are invited to bid for the contract and in doing so are required to demonstrate their relevant knowledge and experience of having provided similar services previously to those being tendered. The Authority wishes to commission service(s) from suitably qualified providers who can offer the provision of Best Interest Assessments to eligible customers in order to safeguard against an unlawful deprivation of liberty taking place. The initial Framework Agreement period is three years. The Framework Agreement is estimated to commence 27th November 2023 and expire 26th November 2026. There will be an option to extend the Framework Agreement for up to a further one year, subject to satisfactory performance, funding and business needs. Maximum Framework Agreement period is, therefore, four years.
