Ardchonnell Bridge Strengthening Works

Tender description

Argyll and Bute Council require a contractor to carry out a bridge maintenance scheme on B840-140 Ardchonnel Bridge whilst ensuring the B840 remains open to vehicular and pedestrian traffic. The scheme comprises of a variety of disciplines including reinforced concrete works for a new buttress wall, reinforced concrete beam, reinforced concrete parapet and drainage which have been designed to prolong the life of the structure. Following Inspections, Argyll and Bute Council require a contractor to carry out bridge works to support the existing downstream spandrel, wing and parapet wall at the B840-140 Ardchonnell Bridge.
