Iarnród Éireann, Irish Rail (IE) have a requirement for a system replacement of the On-Train Data Recorders (OTDRs) across all fleets, a total of 231 vehicles. The requirement for a system replacement is attributed to an obsolescence notice to existing OTDRs, received from the current supplier to IE. The aim of this Market Consultation document are to inform potentially interested parties of IE’s project objectives for a replacement of OTDRs across all existing fleets and to obtain market reaction or market soundings from participants in the relevant market.
