Tender description
Purchase of two additional Ti:sapphire lasers to work in tandem with our current Ti:sapphire laser. The Institute for Multiscale Thermofluids is seeking to develop a pulse-burst femtosecond laser system, which will be used for temporally resolved Ballistic Imaging and two-photon laser induced fluorescence (TP-LIF) imaging of liquid sprays. Within the laboratory there is an existing Ti:sapphire 35 fs laser, and to create a pulse-burst fs laser system, we are now purchasing two additional Ti:sapphire lasers that work together in tandem with our current Ti:sapphire laser.
