Tender description

Southend-on-Sea City Council (the Council) are seeking electronic tender responses as part of a competitive procurement process to appoint a Contractor to provision the Council’s Stray Dog Service (the Service). The Service will include, but will not be limited to, the collection of stray dogs from within Council areas, providing of kennelling, reuniting dogs with their owners, collection of fees from reclaiming owners (on behalf of the Council) and the rehoming of dogs. Other requirements and detail relating to the Service such as reporting, legislative compliance, record keeping, the provisioning of veterinary treatment, Social Value and contract management are covered as part of the Tender Documents. This includes, but is not limited to the required documentation to be submitted, Financial Standing, Insurance and all other mandatory requirements.
