SSD 23 10 - Derbyshire Framework for Specialist Residential Care and Nursing Homes (under 65 years)

Derbyshire County Council Adult Health and Social Care are planning to establish a Framework for the procurement of Specialist Residential Care and Nursing Home Placements (under 65 years). This Framework will replace the existing contracting arrangements for all new specialist residential care / nursing home placements from April 2024 (proposed date). This includes Emergency Placements and Respite Care. IMPORTANT - POST APRIL 2024 - IF YOU ARE NOT ON THIS FRAMEWORK THEN NO PLACEMENTS CAN BE MADE BY DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL We would primarily welcome interest from Providers operating in the County of Derbyshire, as well as Derby City, Staffordshire, Stoke on Trent, Leicestershire, Leicester, Nottinghamshire, Nottingham, Stockport, Tameside, Oldham, Kirklees, Barnsley, South Yorkshire, Greater Manchester and Cheshire East. However, the Framework will be open to all providers across the United Kingdom. The Framework will be applicable to the following client groups: • Mental Health • Learning Disabilities • Autism Spectrum Condition • Physical Disabilities • Sensory Impairment • Acquired Brain Injury • Those with unpredictable levels of behaviour that challenges services 2 Tender Information Events will be held via Microsoft Teams both at 1pm on: Tuesday 19th September 2023 Wednesday 20th September 2023 This information event relates to care homes for under 65 years and the specialisms listed above. It will not be relevant to care home providers with only services for people over 65 years of age.
