Serious Violence Duty – Consultancy Support

Tender description

We are looking to appoint a consultation partner to support partners with the implementation of the Serious Violence Duty. The Serious Violence Duty came into effect in January 2023 and within the guidance, a number of organisations were identified as Responsible Authorities. The production of a Strategic Needs Assessment was a mandatory product along with a corresponding Response Strategy. Partners across West Yorkshire have requested consultancy support to help them fully embed the requirements of the duty into local processes and: • Maintain overall momentum and oversight of SVD implementation • Convene monthly SVD working group • Support inputs to partners around Local Profiles, consultation, Strategic Needs Assessment • Support the embedding of the Consultation framework (The Home Office commissioned Crest Advisory to deliver this following the Readiness Assessment) • Capture progress responding to the SV Duty Readiness Assessment • Support partners with delivery planning • Consult with partners and review/refresh the Response Strategy in accordance with the requirements of the duty. • Provide regular updates, presentations and briefings to the Partnership Executive & delivery Group, Place based partnerships, etc
