Tender description

Northern Ireland Electricity Limited (NIE Networks) has a significant volume of specialist vehicles and plant including winches, Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs), forklift trucks and associated trailers which required routine servicing, maintenance, inspections and repairs to comply with legislative requirements. One Framework Agreement has been awarded to one supplier for each Lot. Lot 1: Lot 1 - Maintenance, Service, Inspection & Repairs of NIE Vehicles & Plant Northern Ireland Electricity Networks Limited (NIE Networks) has a significant volume of NIE Networks owned specialist vehicles and HGV trailers which require routine servicing, maintenance, inspections and repairs to comply with legislative requirements. NIE Networks wished to establish framework agreement with one operator for the services of suitably experienced contractors to provide these services across Northern Ireland. This Framework is established for a period of 5 years with an option (exercisable entirely at NIE Networks Discretion), to extend for up to a further 3 year period. (8 years in total) Lot 2: Lot 2 - Maintenance, Service, Inspection & Repairs of MEWPS, forklifts, winches & associated trailers Northern Ireland Electricity Networks Limited (NIE Networks) has a significant volume of NIE Networks owned Forklifts, mobile elevated work platforms, winches and associated trailers which require routine servicing, maintenance, inspections and repairs to comply with legislative requirements. NIE Networks wished to establish a framework agreement for the services of suitably experienced operator to provide these services across Northern Ireland. The Framework is established for a period of 5 years with an option (exercisable entirely at NIE Networks Discretion), to extend for up to a further 3 year period.
