Tender description

Public Realm improvement works to Emily Square including reconfiguration of traffic circulation along the R417, restricted access along west side of Emily Square and closure of local road to the Front of Athy Heritage Centre. The proposed works comprise the upgrade of existing footpaths with paving and concrete, realigning kerblines, the provision of street landscaping, and supply and installation of street furniture inclusive of seating, street lighting, signage, bollards, planters, Interpretive Signage etc. Removal of existing carparking and paving throughout the square Diversions and installation of new underground services including Drainage and Sewerage, Electrical Ducting/Cabling, Telecommunications Infrastructure, Gas Mains and Public Lighting Ducting/Cabling.
