Design and build of a new concrete skate park

Tender description

Raunds Town Council intends to provide a new concrete skate park facility at the site of the former (decommissioned) skate park at Amos Lawrence Playing Fields. The scheme will re-establish a much-needed leisure and sporting facility for the local community. The Council has formed a Working Group to oversee the project which incudes members of the public, and feedback from the Working Group has identified that the users would like to see a variety of wheeled sports opportunities for all ages and abilities. The successful contractor will be responsible for finalising the design and delivering the construction stage of the project. This will involve several key deliverables including the submission a technical design, liaison with the Council & local community, ensuring safe construction and completing a smooth handover process.
