Tender description

Maintenance dredging work on behalf of Louth County Council at Annagassan Port, County Louth, Ireland. Lot 1: Capital Works Management Framework PW CF5 Louth County Council invites suitably experienced Contractors to express their interest in carrying maintenance dredging work on behalf of the Council at Annagassan Port, County Louth, Ireland. The dredging work will involve the removal of several thousand cubic meters of sediment located adjacent to the quay wall and along the access channel approaching the berths, to restore water depths for the Port users. It is anticipated that the dredging work will be undertaken using a suitable shore based long reach excavator. Once dredged, the Contractor will dispose of the sediments to a suitable shore-based landfill facility (location to be advised). Louth County Council are aiming to undertake the maintenance dredging work under an Irish Public Works Contract in Q4 2023.Interested Contractors are invited to submit expressions of interest in this Project to the email address below before 4.30pm on 14th August 2023, along with a short explanation about why they feel they would be suitable to undertake this work. Failing to express interest in the works will not preclude any Contractor from the subsequent open tendering procure. However, those Contractors who express an interest may be invited to attend the site to discuss the works and their potential methodology in advance of a tender being distributed.
