Wiltshire Council Public Health Services Market Engagement Events – NHS Health Checks (Outreach model) The Public Health team at Wiltshire Council are hosting a series of market engagement event in relation to services offered through the Public Health services contract. The current Public Health contract and service model in Wiltshire expires in March 2024 and we would like to enhance the current offer to help reduce inequalities, increase access to services and focus on prevention. The services this engagement event will be focused on are the NHS Health Checks programme (adults aged 40-74 years old). At the stakeholder engagement event on 27 April we obtained your views on an enhanced offer that will complement the current offer of these services through Primary Care with a targeted approach and focus on reducing inequalities. Elements of the enhanced offer will need to work in collaboration with Primary Care to deliver these services. The contract will be for 3 years with the option to extend for 2 from 1 April 2024. Our second online engagement event is taking place on 18 September and this event will provide information on: • Service specification of the NHS Health Checks programme. • Information on next steps for procurement and timescales. • Opportunity to comment on service specification and procurement plans To book your place please click on the Eventbrite link below for your preferred date.
