Provision of Data Network Core Switch Replacements (Black Diamonds) plus Support and Maintenance

Tender description

1. The Authority is looking for Data Network Core Switch replacements to include relevant support, maintenance, licensing and warranties for our currently installed Extreme Black Diamond chassis pair. The replacements need to be compatible with our existing network switches to ensure we are able to provide seamless integration between our core, distribution and access layers of our network infrastructure. The replacements must also provide us with sufficient, amount and types of connections and features to support and future proof the investment. Our current equipment and requirements are detailed in the Specification – Appendix A. 2. Support, Maintenance and current Licensing for existing Extreme Switches (X690 & X440-G2 Series) within lifecycle, please refer to the Specification – Appendix A.
