Tender description

You are invited to participate in the following Tender – Ecological Consultancy Services – Portarlington/Graiguecullen Municipal District (Client). The Client is responsible for maintenance of watercourses and associated infrastructure in the Portarlington/Graiguecullen Municipal District of Laois County Council and intends to carry out works on watercourses including vegetation and debris removal, tree pruning and channel clearance (above low flow levels), which, if not addressed, could lead to serious flooding events in the future. In addition, ongoing maintenance and repair of bridges, bank protection, weirs and other structures is required. Laois County Council wish to procure the services of a suitably qualified Ecological Consultant to prepare reports as outlined in the RFT attached in relation to our proposed River Maintenance Works.
