High Performance Sports Rehabilitation Lead Consultant

Tender description

As directed by the Director of the Sport Ireland Institute, deliver support services to specified high performance sports in the following areas of Sports Rehabilitation: 1. Deliver strategic leadership of the Institute’s Sport Rehabilitation service including leading on the capital development programme for the Rehab Department as part of the Institutes development plan 2. Manage the work of other consultants contracted by the Institute to deliver rehabilitation services including physiotherapy and soft tissue therapy 3. Manage the delivery of rehabilitation services at the Institute HQ. 4. Deliver sports physiotherapy clinics at Sport Ireland Institute, Blanchardstown 5. Deliver onsite sports physiotherapy support to nominated sports at training camps and competitions. 6. Collaborate with other consultants to deliver expert multi-disciplinary support services 7. Deliver other support services as agreed that fall within the competency of the consultant 8. As agreed, provide strategic leadership in cross-Institute / cross-discipline roles The consultant will provide the following plans and reports: 1. An annual plan of consultancy activity with defined objectives for approval by the Institute of Sport 2. Recording of appointments as required 3. Weekly updating of project / programme / activity logs as required 4. Quarterly summary reports of progress against agreed objectives 5. Annual report of achievements against agreed objectives 6.
