Family Hub Childcare services

Tender description

Currently Stockton-on Tees Borough Council deliver childcare services to children up to the age of 5 years old to support parents and carers who do not have access to their own childcare so that they are able to attend education and support delivered at Family Hubs. Family Hubs are located in Stockton, Thornaby, Billingham and Redhill. More information about Family Hubs is available here. All childcare services are currently provided by external partners and are the focus of this expression of interest. The Council is looking for providers to deliver a creche service either on site or within close proximity to each of the Family Hubs to enable more parents to access education and support. Childcare provision will be required for classes held during normal hours (Monday- Friday, mornings and afternoons). The new contract will start from 1st April 2024 through to 31st March 2025 with potential extension of two further 12 month periods. Any extension will be reviewed annually and subject to satisfactory performance of the selected provider and demand of the service.
