Provision of student academic, accommodation and dining facilities in respect of Social Welfare Summer School 13th - 19th August 2023. This procurement competition relates to the provision of student academic, accommodation and dining facilities for a week long Social Welfare Summer School (referred to hereafter as "Summer School") in August 2023, based on campus in a University facility within a 30 kilometre radius of Dublin City Centre. The Summer School is a Republic of Ireland / Northern Ireland initiative involving staff from the Republic's Department of Social Protection and the North's Department for Communities, which is hosted on alternate years in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. The Summer School week is residential from Sunday to Saturday and is held in a University environment that provides students with an academic experience in the area of Social Policy and associated topics. The Summer School comprises lectures, social policy presentations and tutor/student study groups. In addition, social events are organised and encouraged for all students both on and off campus. The Summer School accommodates forty eight (48) students, six (6) tutors, six (6) Admin staff; and one (1) Academic Director. In addition, guest lecturers and Department officials also contribute to the Summer School.
