Request for Provider of Design, Production, and Install of Tiered Cinema Viewing Platform (including removal of existing setup)

Tender description

The Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre, Co. Clare seeks tenders for the design, production and install of a tiered viewing platform as part of an upgrade to our Atlantic Edge cinema experience, part of our interpretive exhibition at the Cliffs of Moher. The following is a broad outline of the desired project: Site Preparation: • Removal of existing projection surfaces • Removal of current projectors, mounts and cabling • Repaint the newly exposed walls (if necessary) Tiered Viewing Platform: • To design and build a tiered viewing platform which will place standing visitors optimally to watch the show and get the full effects of the wind and rain environmental effects • To liaise with our AV specialists (already appointed) to get insight for the design phase of the platform • To provide a PSDP and PSCS • Develop detailed design to enable construction and fitting out elements to be installed on site. • Provide comprehensive professional supervision onsite during construction (including fulfilling PSDP role) to ensure the delivery of the project on schedule and within approved budgets. • Provide appropriate input post-installation, engaging with any snagging issues and positively addressing user feedback in the initial period to optimize the interpretation / exhibition impact and performance. The appointed tenderer will be required to make a presentation of the creative design concepts that will include: • Design development drawings, including but not limited to; plans, visitor flows, elevations and visuals • Production of technical drawings and reports • Liaise with AV contractors as required • Provision of floor panel sample for anti-slip testing • Installation on site to final completion, inspection, testing and refinements • Provision of PSDP and PSCS
