Repair and Maintenance - Refuse Collection (RCV) Fleet - Selby Depot

This Request for Information (RFI) relates to the provision of servicing and repairs to the fleet of (HGV) Refuse Collection Vehicles working throughout the Selby area of North Yorkshire. Our fleet currently operates from a main depot in Selby (Waste Depot, Prospect Way, Bawtry Road, Selby, YO8 8BD). Aims and Objectives: • To support service continuity for waste collection services based at North Yorkshire depot, Prospect Way, Selby, YO8 8BD • To keep the fleet of vehicles maintained and operational • To ensure that regular maintenance and unplanned repairs do not impact on the ability of NYC to collect waste from its residents and businesses Scope of requirements: • Vehicles located at Selby Depot, North Yorkshire depot, Prospect Way, Selby, YO8 8BD • A 3-year (plus up to 1 year extension) contract to provide a programme of regular maintenance for a fleet of: 20 x 26 tonne RCVs (Mercedes-Benz Econic 2630 L ENA 6 x 2) 1 x 15 tonne RCV (Mercedes-Benz Atego 1524 L rigid 4x2) 1 x18 tonne Sweeper (Mercedes-Benz Arocs 5 1824 K 4x2 LHD) Full vehicle specifications can be provided upon request. • To carry out statutory inspections • To provide professional advice for its specialist fleet of refuse and recycling vehicles • To provide vehicle cover for off-road vehicles • To provide vehicle washes and inspection • To provide out of hours breakdown cover
