NCC1225 Hosting and Support for Families with Children on the Edge of Care

Tender description

This contract aims to link families in need with local volunteers who can offer help and support at a time of crisis. The aim is to provide short term assistance, including hosting (overnight respite care), to families requiring additional support as part of a range of early intervention and prevention services designed to prevent children becoming "looked after".\r The service will be required to provide support for up to 42 families per year at a maximum budget of £75,000. They will be based predominantly within the southeast and central Northumberland area however a focus in the north and west of the County will also be required. \r
