Tender description

2018 -2020 the DfE invested in pilot programmes to deliver free healthy meals and fun activities to disadvantaged children over the summer holidays. Following these programmes, the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme was rolled out to all upper tier local authorities in 2021 so that children on free school meals across England could be offered free healthy meals and enriching activities over the Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays. Leicestershire County Council commissioned a Dynamic Purchasing System to deliver these services in 2022. This Youth Offer Pilot is to increase availability and take up of HAF places for 2023-25 for older children by delivering the additional holiday club places needed for that age group over Summer 2023.
