Tender description

Derry City and Strabane District Council invites applications from suitably experienced and qualified contractors for the provision of Occupational Health services across the City and District to Council Employees. Derry City and Strabane District Council currently employs approximately 1000 staff including members of staff living in cross border areas. The Council will appoint a contractor and the successful contractor will deliver the requirements. The successful tenderer (the Provider) will be required to work with Derry City and Strabane District Council processes, standardising where possible in order to improve efficiency and create savings. The Occupational Health service is required to assist in reducing absence and assist employees back to work following absence. Occupational Health Services to include pre-employment medical assessments via electronic questionnaires, medical referrals, ill-health referrals and health and workplace rehabilitation advice. The Provider will be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition of service and working with Derry City and Strabane District Council to implement the contract to allow for a seamless transition of service.
