Supported Accommodation: High Support for Adults with Serious Mental Illness - High Needs

Lambeth Council is seeking a provider to deliver a supported accommodation service for 35 adults at any one time with serious and enduring mental illness, and other complex interacting factors, including but not limited to entrenched substance misuse/dual diagnosis. The building-based support service shall be staffed to provide 24-hour waking night support. Most service users have a diagnosis of Schizophrenia and over 70 percent are from a black ethnic group. Lot 1: Lambeth Council is seeking a provider to deliver a supported accommodation service for 35 adults at any one time with serious and enduring mental illness, and other complex interacting factors, including but not limited to entrenched substance misuse/dual diagnosis. The building-based support service shall be staffed to provide 24-hour waking night support. Most service users have a diagnosis of Schizophrenia and over 70 percent are from a black ethnic group. The contract will be offered for a period of three years (3 years), with an option to extend for an additional 1+1 year (5 years in total) at the Council’s sole discretion. The annual contract value is estimated to be £501,000. Additional information: To deliver the Service, the provider must also source and deliver a building in Lambeth with 35 bed spaces/units to accommodate 35 single adults. The accommodation must provide a recovery orientated living environment, demonstrating compliance with the necessary standards
