Lambeth Council is seeking a provider to deliver an accommodation-based support service for adults who are diagnosed with a severe and enduring mental illness, presenting with cognitive impairment and a wide range of accompanying needs that impact upon their well-being. The 15 service users currently placed within the ‘Kingsmead Cluster’ have chronic, longstanding mental health needs and co-morbid physical health issues. A number of the service users originate from the long-stay Tooting Bec Hospital that closed down in the late 1980’s. Lot 1: Lambeth Council is seeking a provider to deliver an accommodation-based support service for adults who are diagnosed with a severe and enduring mental illness, presenting with cognitive impairment and a wide range of accompanying needs that impact upon their well-being. The 15 service users currently placed within the ‘Kingsmead Cluster’ have chronic, longstanding mental health needs and co-morbid physical health issues. Additional information: The contract will be offered for a period of three years (3 years), with an option to extend for an additional 1+1 year (5 years in total) at the Authority’s sole discretion. The annual contract value is estimated to be £336,000.00
