<p>Manchester City Council is proposing to employ a single-stage procurement process comprising of Quality, Commercial and Social Value elements as set out within this document. The contract to undertake the works will be awarded on the basis of NEC 3 Engineering and Construction Contract: Option A (Priced Contract with Activity Schedule) amended as provided with this tender pack. Description of the works The works will be undertaken along the following Streets: • Hilton Street (between its junctions with Tariff St and Tib St) • Stevenson Square • Oldham Street and Lever Street up to its junction with Great Ancoats St • At connected side roads of Tariff St, Port St, Newton St, Little Lever St, Lever St, Spear St, Oldham St and Tib St. Signal works will be undertaken at the following junctions: • Hilton St / Newton St (UTC Site 52) • Stevenson Square / Lever St (UTC Site 1445) • Hilton St / Oldham St (UTC Site 85)</p> Keywords: Walking and Cycling Route, NEC 3 Engineering and Construction, construction, cycling route, walking route
